Sean Foxe, Presidents Address 2026/27

As we begin the 2026/27 season, I would like to warmly welcome everyone back to Kilkenny Rugby Club.
It is a tremendous honour for me to serve as President of a club that has been such an important part of my life for over 30 years. Foulkstown has given me lifelong friendships, countless memories and a genuine sense of belonging. I know many others feel that same connection.
There is already a great energy around the club. We have enjoyed some excellent performances across our adult and youth teams, and it is particularly encouraging to see our Rugby for All programme continuing to grow.
This season also marks 50 years at Foulkstown. It is a wonderful opportunity to recognise the generations of members and volunteers who built the club we have today, while also looking forward through our plans for an all-weather training facility.
From our youngest minis to our youth, girls’, women’s and men’s teams, Rugby for All, coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters, everyone has a place in Kilkenny RFC.
Thank you to all who give their time so generously, to our loyal sponsors and to everyone who supports the club throughout the year.
I wish all our teams, coaches and management the very best for the season ahead. I also extend a warm welcome to every visiting team, supporter and match official who comes through the gates at Foulkstown.
Facilities and results are important, but it is people who make a great rugby club. I look forward to meeting you around Foulkstown and sharing what promises to be a memorable season.
Sean Foxe
President 2026–2028
